Well fratello, I've now done 15 of your beautiful images in about 12 hours, and I will stop for now. I'm skipping over several images in order to end, tonight, with your most recent upload. (Don't want you to think I've ignored the present! I see everything, whether I comment at the time or not.) Your skyline is dominated by, I assume, the great Hagia Sophia---it looks like it, at least. And whatever it is, it dominates, as all such structures should. And you've---god, I don't know the words here---fractionalized the urban-scape into broken planes and mirrors---like you sheared it with sheets of glass and mirrors. Some sections---like the water, esp the center---look like some of those 1920s and 1930s abstracts, when painters were divided the world into planes and geometries. It's luminous here: You still have reflections (water), but they're so glass-like. Wonderful. And you've done it to all the buildings too---taking a cue from their block-like appearnce: of form, color, light, shadow, etc. And you made ghost images, even smears or "motion blurs"---only your "blurs" are very sharp, articulate. (Little smears above or around the buildings.) I love your treatment of these images. You make these huge cities feel like villages, with that big church in the center, as old village churches often feel. If that is the Hagia Sophia, it's never been more friendly with its surroundings. A beautiful dream, articulated with great precision, and given from your inner heart. You're superb at what you do, Nikolay, and it's a gift to be here once more.

It may appear to be an overcast sort of a sky or day - but the reflections show us, that the sun will surely come shining through ... whether Istanbul or (not Constantinople) beautiful work Nikolay, BB
