I love it when you work in this style. It's got such a simple feeling to it, but there's always more to think about than meets the eye. You're in a class by yourself, my friend. This is brilliant!

Ditto Tara: You're in a class by yourself. (and...) This is brilliant! Like others of your print-like montages, this has crystal clarity, many flat hues, an almost cutout feeling to it, and it speaks a world through those simple means. The figures look like classic Maoist revolution figures---with the hats and (seeming) military jackets. Their scatteredness across the road make them appear 'random', like they dropped in from a huge backroom filled with such figures. (Or a huge country.) And they're so dark! Standing out against those light hues...And you add a simple house, simple little hills, a beautiful lighted tree (light-topped I should say), water, clouds, and those very articulate kites: One looks almost like a jellyfish floating in the sky...You get a timeless feeling, as these people could've dropped in from another age. Another of your haunting, simple pieces, and amazing how you get from photos to these! You're transforming the art everytime you create, and reminding us of all the frontiers that await us if we look...

Another fine composition, simplicity seems to be the style, and it's well expressed by a few others here, with words I cannot easily find, as they do - but the sentiment is the same ... stunning work, Nikolay BB
