Description

I took hyw 90 to Houston from lake Charles. I like the old back ways. I saw this church so I turn around and took some photos of it. My camera was not getting good shots as it was not on the right settings here. I left and later on I got the right settings but I did not wish to get the shots of the church anymore . I as a gas station at the time asking for directing as I was following a goolge map. lol. My gps did not want to take this way so I put it up. it just wish to take the fast way. I stop about 10 times asking for directions to get to where I wish in Houston. it ok. I saw places I never saw before and really no time limit to where I was going

You use a GPS? I still use old paper maps to find where I'm going. Anyway, terrific antiquity, vivid color and composition in this shot of the church, that kind of reminds me of the Alamo.

What an interesting building, and quite strange looking. It's much more fun to go on the back roads. I don't have a GPS.

The camera settings may have been wrong, but I'm really digging this washed out look and details of the brick, windows and lumo-grass ! ~Cheers~

This is a very special photo and a lovely capture of it, Jock. I love how you give it justice by the mood, and colors which can be admire on it. What beautiful are the bells 'hanging around'. I would like to hear their sound. Thank you so much for your lovely comments, dear Jocko (I'm far behind with my commenting, so sorry) But, to answer you question about the 'grape hyacinth', : No, this flowers you can't eat, and actually they are very little, it was a macro-shot ;-). Wishing you a lovely weekend, God bless, and I love your stories of about wander through streets and see unexpected objects, etc. And, 'no', we don't have an GPS.
