Description

This little Havanese puppy exploring is aged just 3 weeks, and I painted it for my Mum using one of my photos for reference. He features in her Mother's Day card. As many of you know she has Alzheimer's but she can still get into memories if I just jog her a bit. So hopefully when she opens her card we can talk about the time we bred little Button (she named him that). She will forget about it all a couple of minutes after we remember those wonderful days, but if I can see her just remember a little something of those times and see her smile it will certainly make my day. Sis, you did an outstanding job on this moving dedication for your Mum. I was literally fighting back tears while reading you're thoughts behind the image, as many out here can well relate to what you and your Mum are going through. What a wonderful image your mum is obviously very much loved by you.. I pray that she will be alert and able to have memories of little Buttons even if only for a short time. I know its hard I had this with my granddad :-( getting old can so suck at times. Sending thoughts and prayers yours and her way..
