Description

This one is for Greywolf44 and grafikeer. You both felt that the lighting was too low, so here is a second render of the same scene with the lighting repositioned and the shading rate dropped. I also put in some natural reflection and changed the hair on the V6 HD model. (Thanks for your feedback Dave & Neil, I hope you like this one) Take One can viewed here: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2522310 Victoria 4.2 - DAZ - DAZ3D Victoria 6 - DAZ - DAZ3D GenX2 Transfer Utility - Dimension3D - DAZ3D Advanced Ambient Light - Age Of Armor - DAZ3D Rebel Hair - Valae - DAZ3D V4 Skins Auto Converter for Genesis 2 Female - DraagonStorm - DAZ3D Space Base - DAZ, petipet - DAZ3D Lunar Craters Moonscape - FirstBastion - DAZ3D Trendy Platforms for Genesis2 Female - Lilflame - DAZ3D XBikini - Silver, DemonicaEvilius - DAZ3D Bikini for She Freak V4 - Bobbie25 - DAZ3D Thanks for stopping by.

Much better, now we can see them, and your work,clearly...like how the lighting gives the eyes an eerie glow. Not familiar with DazStudio as a render program...I don't know what would be required to soften the cast shadows and make them a little lighter overall( I would use Global Radiosity in Vue),but that would be my only suggestion to add even more...excellent work all around!

LOL, I guess I went too far. I removed the shadow bias and softening to remove the gain in the shadows as they didn't look right with the increased luminosity of the lights. I am glad this was just an experiment! :-)

Wow JD, that really does change the atmosphere of the entire image. I won't disagree with what Neil said, but, this image like so many others in DAZ could have the lights tweaked a thousand different ways and you'll get a thousand different people saying "maybe if you change it just a little more like this..." (LOL) I'm just glad you got a couple of opinions from fellow artists, you implemented their suggestions and came up with this. In the course of it all, we all gained something. Nice job and THANK YOU for listening.

Thanks to both of you for the feedback, I truly appreciate constructive criticism from any and all sources. I think it is what makes it possible to learn from each other and become better at our craft.

Sharing ideas puts art at its best ! I agree with all of you from the first render to this one...even if, more thna these lights used, I may be had draw/sculpt their shapes with a light getting from behind as a nebula or a "sun"... :-D*
