Thank you for visiting my home page! My real name in John Daniels and I am a software developer that has been playing with digital art for about 5 years now. A family member (grafikeer) got me interested in working with 3D models and that was the end of my free time.
It has taken some time to get a handle on the tools, but I feel I am starting to get hang of it. The next step is to dig into the actual modeling aspect. I have a background in Architectual Drafting and working with 3D modeling for structures etc which I plan to leverage in the creation of my own props, clothing and textures.
The DS Meta data packs that I sell are the result of countless hours of learning and playing with my own content to fully understand how the metadata works and how to create is efficiently. I have over 5500 products in my own runtime that now has Smart Content Meta Data. I have been putting together packs that I think make sense and selling them here in the Renderosity Market Place. I picked up ZBrush and I am working on learning how to use it so that I can start creating my own content to publish, I have many ideas, but it will take some time to master the tools needed to bring those ideas to life...

Wow, JD, when I saw the thumbnail my first thought was "Damn, that looks like my stuff" (LOL). Then I read your notes. Thank you just for the acknowledgment. You borrowed an idea and made it your own. That's what is so great about viewing other peoples work. It makes us all better. In fact just looking at this image gave me some new ideas! Have a safe and happy Easter.

Very nice image. The parts are composed in a visually pleasing way, and without your question, I would look at it and say excellent, well done. Since you asked, though, the right one is G2F and the left is V4. The harsh line in the left's bent elbow is typical V4. The bubble bend of the right's elbow may be due to using V4 to G2F shaping, I don't know, but that is the only mesh flaw I can see. The textures themselves seem indistinguishable. In any event, very nicely done! I like it! :)
