Description

I have to say, one of the things that bugs me most right now, is that there are so many native options for Victoria 4 that it's not funny. However, when it comes to GND Anastasia, there are basically a handful of items made for her, and most of them are little more than stripperwear. It caused me a lot of distress because I really like the figure. So like a lot of folks, I just sat back and waited for someone to make something close to what I wanted. And I waited..... And waited a little more.... (I think I'm still waiting...) But then I was reading over one of my old forum posts at RuntimeDNA and I got convicted by my own words. "If I want something, I'm more than capable of attaining it. That's the wonderful thing about Poser if you can't buy it, you can make it, and if you can't make it, then you can always fake it!" I have a little skill, but a lot of the time, I buy things because I don't want to spend all my life modeling everything. However, in this particular case it became clear to me that I was going to be waiting for a while if I wanted someone to make the stuff for her that I wanted, which was namely, a normal wardrobe... Fantasy armor and stuff is great, but not all the time. Sometimes you just want a pair of jeans or tennis shoes or some casual clothes. With that I got started with a couple of shoe projects. Actually there are three of them right now, but I can see now that I've gotten started, there will be more of them. I do a lot of my work in Silo, but I did start working more heavily in Cinema 4D modeling, so I may make the switch. This is the base mesh for a simple pair of wedges that I saw in a catalog my mom had. Bless her, because as soon as she saw what I was doing, she started dropping off some of her old Kohls catalogs. She just puts them on my desk when she drops by. Pretty cool, eh? Anyway the base mesh is coming along pretty well. I'm excited.

Yeah, I know what that's like. I have an image in my head of what I want, and most times I try to look for it, but I can see that there's a lot of models that just don't have any. I just got tired of waiting, LOL!
