Description
Meadows 11th birthday.
Jasmine decided to organise a small party & ask some of their friends to come. Mickey came along, he was one of the first to arrive. Of course Zlata was the very first to arrive as she kept telling everyone but Scarey Mary kept talking over her so Zlata got a bit of a face on. She had gone to all the trouble of putting a pretty flower in her hair but she could see no one had noticed. Zwoggle had though & was trying to catch her attention but Zlata prefered to sulk. Zwoggle had got all dressed up & was hoping to do some magic. it also didn't go down too well with Zlata when Scarey Mary said Zwoggle could make Zlata dissappear, oh dear. Jasmine was very busy watching for the guests to arrive, she saw Mr. & Mrs Bonga on their way & behind them was Hippy Hazel. What fun it will be to catchup with all these old friends.
Truly had never met all the friends before & asked Mr. Buck to stay close to her & tell her who was who but to be quite honest she was quite happy figuring out a way how to get the two balloons down that Zwoggle had let go of when he offered them to Meadow as a present.
Miss Meadow was in her element but was laying there remembering all the wonderful times everyone had spent together, the amazing adventures they had shared but also very sad as Carla 'B' wouldn't be there to celebrate with them.
I have to differ with Meadow as I think Carla 'B' was there in spirit.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEADOW, enjoy your day & all the lovely treats.

That is really charming and cute... great story there... I'm sure the party will go well in the end, Zlata will cheer up once somebody notices the flower in her hair. Happy birthday to Meadow, Carla 'B' is certainly there and many others who could not make it in person would have made it in spirit. Nice fun work.

This was a tear jerker for me Barbara - Carla 'B' was the first one I saw. It was a lovely idea to include her. You put Miss Meadow in the perfect spot to be the queen of the party. Nice to see Mr. & Mrs. Bonga again and Zwoggle is looking love sick at Zlata! A beautiful creation to have everybody there at one time! An excellent image and a keeper for sure!

Of course Carla will always be with you in spirit and I bet she had a jolly good time at this amazing Birthday party of Miss Meadows. She looks amazing and I love this photo of her as you well know and I enjoyed painting from it as a reference.
