Description
A closeup of the roof tiles & adobe clay of the Mission Santa Barbara. I hope Tara in particular will appreciate this one - her photography has helped me gain a greater appreciation for seeing the small details in things.
My friend Allen (roguetographer) let the cat out of the bag about my birthday yesterday. I generally don't make a big deal about birthdays (my own or others) unless it's a child's (like my grandson), but I appreciate those of you who wished me a happy one (& it was)...
Please zoom.

Oh man. This is IT! This is SO much what I like to see! Everything about it is absolutely satisfying. The way you've framed the shot, the pov, the angles and planes and lines and curves of the rooflines, the colors, textures, saturation, postwork ... it's perfect. One of the things I like best about being here on RR is the cross-pollination that happens. I'm honored to be a part of that process! :) I don't usually favorite images, but this is just SO right on. Love it!
