Description
Just back from a couple of days away at the Oregon coast. My wife & I went with a group of our closest friends - there were nine of us all together - & had a great time. This is a panorama of a cove near Cape Arago. Lots of small tide pools nestled among the rock formations which extend pretty far out. Some starfish & anemones, but far fewer than I would have expected. One of my friends was told by a biologist friend of his that something seems to be killing off a lot of the starfish, though they haven't identified the cause yet. My guess would be that humans are probably involved in one way or another, though I'll reserve judgment until I hear something conclusive.
I had to reduce the size of this to get a somewhat decent compressed version that would fit in under 512 kb, though it still has some banding & pixellation in the sky. Zoomed is better...

I'm ready! Give me transporter technology, and I'll be there in a heartbeat. Nothing like the Oregon coast to blow out the cobwebs! This looks heavenly.
