Wonderful shots Steve, love its little legs all tucked up for flight. Hope you get the Voluntary you are obviously after and wither it means retirement per se or simply a nice little earner on the way to another job all the best:) Martin

outstanding stop action captures. I have been able to do it before, by keep on shooting while they are flying with several wasted shots. I have been looking for a new lens but no way can I afford a Canon 1DX

Don't sell your kit!! I've done a little math and I estimate you are still quite young, late 40s maybe. You'll need an active and engaging hobby or you'll go batty. I've noted it before, you live in a part of the world that is blessed for photography. The one time sale of such a nice kit will not help you for very long but having that kit on hand may give you a lifetime of pleasure. Hang tough - my thoughts are with you.
