Description
A couple of shots inside the VC10 that Rob posted, I couldn't help noticing the 'ignition' below the pilots yolk.....what a bummer, you settle yourself in for the flight and realise you left the key on the dresser in your bedroom :-) Please excuse the 'blown out' cockpit windows, this was facing directly into the sun and it was bright !! Check out Robs exterior shot for more serious and interesting info........

Lots of seats and a WHOLE bunch of buttons. Great photos!

I had the same problem shooting the inside of the cockpit of a WWII bomber. the pilots really had no room hardly, but not as bad as a fighter jet

Very cool shot, cool cockpit...especially when you get to fly from your Laz-y-boy...

This is cracking mate and a great follow up to Rob's post. Just look at all those wonderful knobs and dials. A blast from the past that a worthy fav.

No more space to stretch their legs than the passengers have. I sure remember flying in those early jet planes - sardine cans, if anything. Yet they could take quite a load. Thanks for the great photo of the cockpit (despite the sun head on!). ANd thanks for the joke - left the keys on the dresser in the bedroom! That gave me a good chuckle! It was probably to prevent the cleaning staff from taking an unauthorized swing! Keep up the good work! :-)

I think any aircraft interior is nice until you fill it with loud, sweaty tourists with crying babies and bratty kids..... :-)
