My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

This building looks like it was designed by a cake decorator. Well seen & captured...

my teeth hurt looking at this and thinking about cake, plus my blood-sugar would put me in a coma! Great capture with some interesting detail. Cool capture

Well I just had some cake, chocolate. This certainly is colorful. Sure beats the sterile architecture we have in so many cities today.

What an artsy and colorful building! How wonderful to see this sweet example of the different feel a paint job can give a building. :)

These kinds of facades make beautiful shots to begin with, but your crop makes them speak a wholly different language, and you've made them new and fresh as a result. A cross section of those beautiful pillars and metal 'traceries', allowing the peach-reds and turquoise blues to stand out beautifully (they're almost complementary colors, so they really contrast each other). And as it all opens up (the pillars open up as we move to the left) you show us what's between them. Stuff going on inside, a room in there! Including a painting, lights, and I don't know what. The painting was a perfect snippet to show us. An excerpt shot, a cross-section, but you revealed a whole lot in the process. And, once again, you've done a terrific dialogue with architecture.
