Description
This is Mia's third kit. She is quite a show off. She would watch me for some time and then jump up and run around as fast as she could. She would stalk me, I was VERY afraid, and then jump out and look at me like I should run for my life! I was such a disappointment to her. She was the most like Mia. I am finding that the females are all much like this. The males are a little more subdued.
Mia is the best example of wildlife rehab. She was trapped by a stupid human. They wanted a pet fox. Never mind that this is against the law. They waited for about 5-6 days to call and ask me how to get her to eat.......She would not eat because she was grieving. I sent the officers to get her and bring her to me. The stupid people got to spend the night in the Gray Bar Motel. Now she is back where she belongs, raising her kits and doing what fox's do. Wildlife are not pets.
Wild animals from another country are not exotic pets. They are wild animals from another country.

Good sermon, Bev! I love my little ones, yes, they get petted, and a lot of love. But I can not bear the idea of forcing myself on them! When I come home, Kitty is inside the door and rears up on her hind legs, grabbing my legs with her paws (my legs look like pin cushions!) and wants up in my arms. Then up on my shoulders and neck, rubbing cheek to cheek and occasionally biting (ouch! But no blood, so these are so-called love bites). When she's had enough she signals "Down", I get down on my knees and down she jumps. Animals communicate with us, if we only would take the time to look, listen, and love them. Their love is so spontaneous and unconditional, unlike most humans. :-)
