More creative postwork - you're on a roll, Mark. This one seems to have a medieval, Arabic feel to it...

An exercise in high contrast, as depicted in this sterling foto of what could pass for the front of a Moroccan palace, Mark. Stellar repetition along with everything else. And looks like a Chevy parked in front. As an aside, Brooks Brothers is known for classic clothing and apparel for men, women & children.

Mark, all I can say is that you never cease to amaze me. Once again you managed to make a typical setting have a dramatic appeal. I especially like the way the effects caused the shadows to stand out.

I'm intrigued by the way the awnings don't quite fit the shape of the arches. I'm sure that wasn't what you were aiming to have us look at, but you know me ... I'm drawn to these small anomalies. Aside from that rather Tara-esque randomness ... I LOVE what you've done with this shot! The softness is so engaging. The way you've highlighted shadows, even where they aren't expected, creates wonderful eye movement around your canvas. Very exciting!

Enigma in umber. Well, sepia didn't sound as satisfying.

Just love the treatment, which emphasizes the very dramatic shapes of the building and those awnings. I've always liked awnings for some reason, maybe it's the shape of them, or the contrast of cloth against concrete and brick, of curves against straight lines, adding softness. That is wonderfully captured in this image.

I love this watercolour-esque abstraction of the scene; you've got the important shapes that mark the anchors, and the sweeping floods of colour and shadow to give us room to see what we want to see in it. Beautifully done!

To me this brings to mind the film, Time Machine. Your postwork has given the scene a timelessness.

We all see different things in a foto and what caught my eye and I see that car in the foreground. I know it's a later model, but your postwork makes it look like an old one; a classic. Great foto, and one of your classics!!

Beautiful capture and motif, Mark. Fabulous architecture. Maybe this is the building in which FLW used to have his office? Maybe men's clothier? i am not sure.. I really like the postwork you did on this fine piece. Fantastic softness light and sepia.

the contrast and rhythm, and the two curvy verticals ...an atmosphere of a holiday - a lovely image, Mark!

So soft, so sunny, so gentle and yet so sharp in edges and deep in shadows. Here we see the shapes of the the ornamental part of this beautiful building so very clealy. You are a Magician in the art of transformation. LOVE IT !!
