Description
Pretty straight forward image. I'm quite happy with it-- I'm not much of a car monkey so the '58 Chevy Impala turned out better than I'd ever hoped. The tire tread texture is crud, but I'll do better on the next one.
The V4 topology really didn't like this pose. It took a good half hour in zBrush to iron out the twists in her shoulders and armpits. (I didn't think it was that extreme.)
Thanks to Artformz for recommending the models at archive3d.net (the car) and to PhilW for sharing his depth of field secret. I used a GIMP plugin called "Focus Blur" and it does it wonderful job very quickly.
