Description

I had to make a pic on this theme for a daily challenge group on Flickr, and couldn't resist giving this one an eye. It is part of the Western Red Cedar driftwood 'sculpture' in the garden. See the other Here

Gudlawd, what a closeup of the erstwhile reptile, Andrea! Textures, high contrast and tortuous patterns to die for in this awesome shot.

The eye is perfectly placed! Western Red Cedar driftwood is quite common on our beaches, and this looks like a little piece of home!

I see something reptilian, but also marvelously mammalian; what a great piece of art!

It looks like an old dinosaur carving and a super idea to add the eye! The FlickR side looks like the throat of a baleen whale! Two great captures Andrea!
