Description

the dog is dead. never saw him. I just had a bad photo of him to use as a referral. His name is PopEye. I had to paint him two times as the person who knew him say he was two light. i told her i was doing what the poor photo the owner give me. Oh well some one ask me to paint him. this is the first painting I did in over a month. 16x24

PopEye is lucky to have you to immortalize him in this wonderful painting. Had to haul a dead dog off my property last week, poor thing went after a groundhog under the old barn and managed to chew into the electrical wiring and electrocute herself. This dog will always be remembered as long as this painting is around, that one won't. So Popeye still lives as long as people can look at this painting and it is great portrait indeed!
