Description

I am pretty sure it's a Water Buck. I forgot to take a photo of the sign, as I was so excited about the rhinoceros, wandering up close. My husband is pretty good at remembering things, I don't retain much...lol. (and I was still on an adrenalin high from my Flightline adventure) Anyway, these guys were hanging out with the rhinoceros, and this one stopped and looked right at me, like he wanted his photo taken. I love the Safari Park. I always enjoy my day there. I don't get to visit as often as I'd like, but I am going to try to get there more this year. The new Tiger habitat is opening next Month. Way Cool. ;) Anyway, if you enjoy animals, and you are ever in Escondido, take a trip to the San Diego Safari Park. It's a pretty neat place and they seem to do a lot of good work for the animals. So, that's what a Water Buck looks like. Actually, I had never seen or heard of one before, lol. Otherwise, a top notch capture of the kind creature, graciously agreeing to pose for you.
