Description

ANZAC morning in Auckland was a bit grim weatherwise!. Though far from the best captures as I didn't have much time to grab the camera and start shooting (and forgot to switch back from RAW to JPEG.. hence an annoying delay between shots :o{ ).. anyway managed to capture some of the sequence of the Roaring 40's Harvard's ( The Warbird's Display team based at Ardmore) The team arrived unexpectedly and had just started their run over the local 11.00am ANZAC service on Stockade Hill, releasing smoke as they flew over and which is about 1 km as the crow flies from home, flying directly towards our house, with the final frame as they flew overhead. As you can see the sky was pretty angry, and it had just started to rain too...might as well have been shooting in B&W...

A great set mate and I can only imagine the roar of the engines. So you have classic British weather there too ;)

Very cool captures, Martin! It does look like a rainy day in Middle Earth... But you got some great shots, nevertheless!

They are training for chemtrail lol So Martin, contrary with the camera, remember not to do the same with your guns that must be always ready if we want peace lol...
