Such forethought, to have something to celebrate each 100.. I never remember to look at my number. Congrats on 2700, and hope to see, at the very least, 2700 more from you. Nice shot of these beauties. :)

Well at 2 hours and 25 minutes, I arrive at your 2700th! This is a most unusual shot, not the usual portraits from head-on to angled, etc: Instead, you have the orchids showcased on an angle, with text backing behind---from the show, I assume---and a wonderful play of yellows against greens of all kinds. The shadow on the text is rich in greens and dark yellows; and there are yellow outlines around the leaves, and swaths of big rich blacks to boot. It feels very designed---like you put all the elements together yourself, in a studio, and then took a bunch of shots. I know you couldn't have done that, but your pov and lighting make it feel very much a design: Fine work. And the deep black on the left is finely chosen; and the greenish flowers on the far left make a fine continuation of the green-yellow theme...A beautiful portrait, and your shading is both undulant and sensual. Congratulations on 2700, Harry! I wish you tons more to come!!!
