My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

It is a real nice capture and it only shows how a little of retreat it takes to make people Happy. Great job

Holy cow - they ARE small! Jeeze - I think you'd blow out the windows in those things if you sneezed too hard! :-D I can't imagine being stuck in one of those in high water.... What a great shot, Tara! You really get a feel for how tiny they are!

When I saw this the song running through my mind was "We Represent the Lollipop League, the Lollipop League, the Lollipop League." What did the one on the left do to piss off the others?

Fantastic panorama. What an unusual way to live.

Oh, I like this. This simple shot brings back all the questions that flood through my mind when I see man/woman trying to outwit nature. Love the composition and I know you saw these places for only an instant before you knew you had a photograph worth taking. Quick, intuitive thinking and well done.
