Description

A flock of Trumpeter swans get a little confused... I was trying to think of creating image that was not "yet another pond scene" (which I've done more than my share of in the past month lol) and came up with this urban scene. The Trumpeter Swan is found in the northwestern and central parts of North America, with the largest numbers of breeding pairs found in Alaska. Flying in V-shaped flocks, natural populations of these swans migrate to and from the Pacific coast and portions of the United States. In the winter, they migrate to the southern tier of Canada and in the United States to the eastern part of the northwest states, especially to the Red Rock Lakes area of Montana and the north Puget Sound region of northwest Washington State. However, released populations are mostly non-migratory. Trumpeter Swans form pair bonds when they are three or four years old. The pair stays together throughout the year, moving together in migratory populations. Trumpeters are assumed to mate for life, but some individuals do switch mates over their lifetimes. Some males that lost their mates will not mate again. The Trumpeter Swan is the largest extant species of waterfowl and gets its name from its trumpet-like call. Rendered in Poser 2014 without any postwork. Models used include: Moonshine's Diner (DAZ PC), Trees (DinoRaul), Dawn (Hivewire), Simplicity for Dawn (Ryverthorn), Must Have Casuals for Dawn (Ghostman, Pixeluna, Shadownet), The Elegant Swan Car and Songbird ReMix Swans of the World (Ken Gilliland)

Very cool, out of the ordinary creation, Ken. The swan-mobile is great. The swans look great and when they unfurl their wings I'm sure they are a sight to behold!
