Description

Apis mellifera on Pentaglottis sempervirens. This wild flower is considered a weed by some folk, but the intense blue brighten up the shady parts of my garden which has ever growing areas of 'wild' bits, as I get slower. I was pleased to see that it seems desirable for bees. Except to crop this there was no postwork at all. See the flowers full face Here

Look at the shoulders on that bruiser! It is really going after that flower. Two lovely images. How can anything so beautiful be considered a weed? I guess a weed is anything humans don't want. Works with people as well.
