My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Gorgeous lighting, and what wonderful repeating patterns! A super shot, Tara! I need to go back to San Antonio with the 6D!

Love the repeating shadows and shapes. Great perspective shot although the eyes do tend to cross.

love the light and shadow play in this scene

A powerful pattern! That deep shade must welcome in such a hot place, which is something we are starting to experience here in recent years. I hate it.

Love the mystery and the shadows.

You have the eye for these things! This shot reminds me of Balmore even though the purpose of each place was completely different. Mighty nice.

Very pleasing to the eye ... stupendous but also dramatic ! and if I were a Quentin Tarantino movie producer, this would be my first choice to pick, close second - maybe for a James Bond movie? ... ;P BB

It would be really nice to walk down this corridor and experience it first hand. Again, terrific light balance between light and dark.
