Description
Just back for a day or two. I've visited some of your galleries, and will visit the rest tonight/tomorrow.
Great to be back again!
This was an excerpt, and needs more resolution
but I liked the juxtaposition.
Please see Full for detail.
I hope you're all well!
Inspiration to all,
Mark

OK, I'm a bit strange, but do you know what caught my eye first? The extremely pointy shoes/boots being worn by the man holding the little girl's/boy's hand. Beyond that, the two side-by-side juxtaposed trees...so different...so yummy. Can that be a willow? Postwork is superb...like the way you've muted the background to pop the foreground into our consciousness. Superb!

Beautiful photo, I like the position of the characters that gives me the idea to go into the future!

Splendid photoshot Marc lovely in zoom my friend!!

I love everything about this, especially the texture of the willow leaves; the position of the figures is tense, like they're going to quickly run into the middle of the scene, and the colours are fresh and appealing. Wonderful work, Mark!

Enter Stage left! I must be a nerdy musician. The first thing that I thought of was cotton candy (the luscious pink tree) and then I started singing Mikado!! This is such a delightful scene. So wonderfully settling with it's horizontal lines anchoring the focal points in the landscape. One cannot resist strolling through. And then making a U turn to soak it all in again. Well done!! (came back to edit cuz I can't get enough of this.)

Is that what is known in various circles as a weeping willow tree? The tree, although regal in my eyes, does look like it's in a state of depression. A ZOOM reveals the varied and meticulously shaped textures of the lovely arboreal specimen, Mark. A scene splendidly acquired with your camera, including the man with the pointy shoes/boots. Secondly, kudos to Shroom_Magic3D for having such an articulate vocabulary at the tender age of ten.

Aside from the man & child, there's something very Oriental about this sumptuous photo. The magnificent willow is featured in many pieces of Chinese and Japanese art & the subdued, pastel like colors & soft focus add to the effect. Good to have you back, Mark, even if just for a short visit...

This really does have a very oriental feel, which is lovely. I like how the tree in the foreground frames the entire scene, and the weeping willow is wonderful, along with that pink flowering tree in the muted background. The man and child strolling into the scene adds an interesting element, as if to say all this beauty is so much more when viewed and enjoyed by others. So nice to see a post, Mark.

Ok, I saw the tree first, then that blast of pink in the background. No matter, all in all, it's just gorgeous; has a dream like quality to it I just love!!

An inspired composition ! The low, strong horizontal of the fence, absolutely nailed down by the figures, and the framing of the whole by the tree branch above a so extremely satisfying. This is perfection, Mark.

And Bill is right, those shoes are the male equivalent of killer heels.

Fantastic capture and motif, Mark. What i really enjoy about this shot is the way all the colors play with each other. Brilliant take.

I'm taking notes, Darlin'. You know I am. This is SO cool! I particularly like the colors. They appear to have been toned down a bit ... maybe grayed ... but still look saturated as all getout. Love it!

I cant even begin to dream about how on earth you can evoke such a enchanted view in a photo. You got every little detail of this wonderful weeping willow. Every tiny leaf. Together with the fence and the many colored and yet not too dominating leaves in the front, you made this a totally breathtaking shot to me. I want to jump into it as it is. Love it. And I was chuckling of Andreas comments :))))))))))
