I promised I'd finish commenting today, but I'm gonna have to finish in a few days---sorry! Madness doth fall upon mine house! (I'm influenced by Harry's Renaissance-Faire photos!) I just can't finish tonight: Too much crazy paperwork. It's eating me alive!!!
But I shall return! Forsooth!
But to keep you happy (I hope)
here's a shot from my roof.
Messed with.
And I'll pick up in your galleries where I left off---I promise!
Thanks for all your kindness! Hope you enjoy my llittle apocalypse!

OMG, what a landscape, or skyscape, or mass vista of lights, you have chosen to pleasure us with in this striking from-your-roof capture, Mark. An image with tons of rectangular geometry, plus all of that sparkling electricity, to power your bustling/toddling town, akin to Las Vegas at night. And thanks for mentioning me, sort of in a roundabout way, in your narration. I can use all the support I can get. And easy to see that you have a much more advanced grasp of Shakespearean English than I do, in my pathetic effort to enliven my Renaissance Faire offerings.

LOVE the blues, from pale blue-gray to brilliant royal and cobalt! Lapis. Navy. Sky. Anyway ... this is very exciting! I love how the building across the street stands out so flat and calm amidst the busy-busy of the city. Excellent!

A lot of intuitive messing going on here Mark:) Your version of a Chicago blue hour is magnificent. The lights, the highlights, the sparkling streets. I love the building across the street...it adds life to your image. There appears to be people and furniture and shades. You've given us a glimpse of reality among the representational. Wow, I like it!

Wow, you have turned the cityscape into something quite magical, truly pulsing with an energy and lifeforce that infuses everything, all illuminated by an electric blue moon. There is something otherwordly about this, and also romantic. This is really special and beautiful, Mark.

AWW! I am so stunned by the beauty of this shot, dear Mark. You never cease surprising me with your eyes for beauty and your talent and skills for transformation of your own photo, which I know were already fabulous as originals. But to you a photo is not just a photo. It can be many different amazing images and you are the master in enchanting it. Thank you for sharing all this beauty. It has been an adventure.

Mark, first of all let me agree with you on what a captivating presentation Harry has had most recently in his gallery. Now allow me to say that I find this view from your rooftop equally enticing. This is one of those times where I am searching all around for inspiration to help me get through. This magnificent view not only lifted my spirits but inspired them to new heights. The filtering effect was perfect and play so well with the lighting.
