Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Such a colorful and fun shot. The bucket idea is really super...much more sturdy as well as useful for the beach. :)

What a delightful day! That looks like loads of fun. I bet you and M were tickled to have them over for Easter! :)

I agree with the above, a very happy shot. And it has really lovely light and shadow, nicely intermingled. The colors are really nice too. I wouldn't have minded buckets, as a kid. (Of course we celebrated Passover, and Passover doesn't have buckets OR baskets.) But it's a nice thing for kids to go digging into. And those tall things in the buckets---they look like either cotton candy (wrapped) or big baguettes. (I doubt they're baguettes. Not the first thing on a kid's mind on easter.) And that's your grounds? I wouldn't have recognized them, from older pictures. Lovely shot, lots of happiness, lovely looking kids, a very sweet, Marilyn. And as for jellybeans, the last time I ate jellybeans, I lost all my teeth and 2/3 of my jaw. They are NOT cause for celebration for MY body, lol. I hope you enjoyed them though. A sweet Easter shot, and wonderful looking kids.
