Agree with Hendesse, they will be thinned out by predation, what a cracking shot Andrea. And yes I love spiders :)

Splendid capture of the arachnid youngsters, stretching their eight tiny legs while exploring the milieu of your breakfast table, A. And, babies of most species are cute.

Such detail of these baby spiders, in many ways spiders are fascinating, the web building process is a work of sheer genius and when the elements damage it they build it again. These youngsters have a long road ahead for survival from predators who want a quick snack from the air to those hiding on their ground level. Nice capture.

It looks like they are using the table in your absence to prepare for their own breakfast. I wonder if they would share what they catch with you. They are quite acrobatic. Perhaps they could find employment with Cirque du Soleil. I am constantly amazed at the closeness and sharpness of your macros.

Cool shot! I call them spider balls. Last one I shot had around 200 in there and they close into a ball at night to retain heat, then they move out all over the three-dimensional web in the day, but just tweak one little strand of the web and they all immediately cluster back into a ball. So neat!
