Description
More freeway widening equipment, and a tool Andrea could use in her vast garden, captured 4/26/14, about 3/4ths of a mile from my hallowed habitat.
Awesome teeth on that baby!
Please ZOOM.

The machine is about the size of my garden! The bottom two photos as so interesting. It could be a useful tool in a murder.....Hmmm.

Amazing teeth! These look like upside-down saucepans! What a great cookie cutter that would be with some minor modification...fantastic set of photos showing all the fun bits of this resting behemoth, Harry. Well done!!!

Never seen one of those before, but... if you see my avatar (@ www.Soundclick.com/motic) you probably will know what's that about ;o]... personally i like those very 'huge' ones where you have to look up merely to see the upperside of the wheels :o0

What a totally different set this is, from the last one. This is in such tranquil presentation, almost like an ad for the compactor; it sits regally, as if it had posed for you. You've caught it with its cab against the trees (in the top 3 shots). It seems to sit proudly. And the building and road behind it are clean and clear of the debris of the last set. Obviously this tractor is taken out when all the others are finished. The last two shots show the massivity of those teeth---those inverted saucepans, accdg to Denise: And we get to see the heavy wires and scrape marks along the side too. An in depth view of this strange beauty. You have the teeth lined up with the edge of a floor (in the bldg behind) in all but the last shot; and that last shot is pretty fierce. I couldn't help but think of the rivet-decorations in teenage purses and wallets these days---like this is a huge version of those. A real eye popper and oddly beautiful, sitting there on the clean road like a prince. A fine series of shots with a subject that a lot of photographers would shy away from.
