Description
Captured 4/27/14, at the beautiful Renaissance Faire, held at the beautiful Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area, in semi beautiful Irwindale, California.
Well, it looks like a bloomin' owl to me. Correct me if I'm wrong.
This fancy dude didn't speak either, but at least he smiled and enjoyed what he was doing.
A ZOOM offers intricate details.

He looks quite happy to be the center of photographic attention; I'm amazed that the owl is staying with him in the crowd, what an unusual sight! Wonderful colour, light and details in this fascinating set of shots, Harry!

I'm the last one to give you names of flowers and birds, but I'm pretty sure it's an owl too. (If Denise and Andrea say so, you can take it to the bank.) As for Denise's comment about the owl staying with the man, I understand; but he's probably an animal trainer, as he has the right glove, so he probably knows how to deal with these creatures. Fine closeups, and lots of clear detail in his outfit, down to the patterns on his vest (I assume from one or another branch of royalty). And I love those leather sleeves. (They look like leather, but at least they're heavy fabric.) Can you imagine standing in the heat in that getup? That collar, btw, is a real 'ruff', and that wasn't too comfortable either! I love that you included a smartphone in no. 4, and two photographers in no. 5, including a pretty formidable Canon. (I think we've seen that guy before, yes? He looks familiar.) Their addition brings us right back to 'now', but also shows how many people want to shoot this event. You probably had to work around photographers as much as observers in this event. Another fine shot of a performer, in this series Harry. And the owl's well-behaved too...
