In your garden I would think the two would go together. Wonderful detail. Like so many young ladies I see she carries her water with her.

If it wasn't for your garden denizen portraits I wouldn't know nearly as much as I do about insect body structures. This is brilliant!

Super clarity and detail in this macro of the Damsel fly, not in distress, A. Also like the background striation texture.

It's a fantastic close up, Andrea. Great macro with all the details. It's also good that you have the energy to do your gardening, I hope it will stay a hobby, and not a duty you have to do, my friend. Oh btw 'sorry' that I made a mistake for not activate the video link, and thank you soooo much for your nice words! :) :)

another scintillating insect macro from you, this time looking like it's climbing a paneled wall. (I assume it's a leaf of some kind.) It has that ceramic-like sheen that some insects get close up, and the legs are scintillating. And I love the waterdrop on its bottom right leg. Also, capturing/cropping him so he's in the left half rather than in the center of the image is good design. A very pleasing and bold shot. Really, when you think about it, insects are from another world---I mean compared to animals. If they didn't exist and someone drew some for you, you'd think, "what an imagination!" What did the world do before camera macros?
