Description

Aquilegias, Tiarella and Pulsatilla seedheads . I took Fritz to see the vet this morning as he has a sore patch on his thigh where he probably had an insect bite. I already have the appropriate ointment, prescribed for me, so as I left I heard something I would never expect to hear in the vets..."No charge today, Andrea!" Wonders will never cease!

Poor little Fritz. No charge? If that was a vet here in London, I'd think he was on tablets or something, they are hugely expensive. So much so that little Freddie had a spider bite on his flank, it swelled to a lump, which I dealt with by bursting it with a wet towel. He was fine after that. That little exercise would have been 250 quid right there. It 75 pound just to talk to them. But I digress, what a fantastic shot this is my friend, I love the light play and the little vase varse or vause is pretty too.

This is a lovely shot, you have captured this so well, the window backdrop really sets it off nicely, it goes without saying the work you are producing is book and magazine quality, this one is no exception to that rule. Hope Fritz is feeling more comfortable, sounds like some little critter has had a nip of the little fellow. Being one of the short-legged breed of dogs they are closer to the ground and whilst he is the long coat king.. he none-the-less may come up against the odd pesky critter who breaches his coat.

Probably sweet on you or, perhaps, Fritz. After all, he is the canine George Clooney. And this is a gorgeous image. Just perfect.

Quaint beyond words, A. You're very fortunate to have a window, similar to shower door glass, like that. As good as bokeh for its effects.

Love that window, love the vase, and love the flowers. Oh, and I love the wide windowsill. Healing thoughts being sent to Fritz .. Poor Boy. Did I read that right?? NO CHARGE???? Unheard of! Actually, we've gotten some free visits from our vet too, and had a multiple dog discount when the there were more then one. It was a bit of sticker shock when I took Leya to the vet the first time!! No multiple dog discount!

Such a delicate and beautifully lit arrangement! I'm so used to seeing your flowers on the hall table with mirror and perfume, that this was a bit of a sit-up-and-take-notice moment. Absolutely lovely! A free vet visit? Good heavens. I can't remember the last time we were out for under about $150.

Oh a beautiful capture. Rustic and unadorned. I love the textures of the glass and the subtle streaks of paint in the sill and other window-wood. (There are names for "window-wood," but they've left my consciousness at present. I doubt "window-wood" is an architectural term...) Beautiful how you have the stems and flowers against that beautiful glass. And a really fine flower arrangement too. A lovely indoor shot with a lot of outdoors filtering in. Like tara, I'm used to seeing your flowers in the house with a mirror and other well-chosen objects: This is a change, and it's beautiful.

Good that the ointment will work on both of you. Beautiful flowers and arrangement - can I assume that they all came from your garden?
