Description
"look, I'm tired of talking about it - mom and dad jump from here all the time!"
(I've been reading that they fledge at 6 weeks - I've been watching them for about 3 now - I'm thinking they've got a little ways to go, but they seemed bigger than newborn the first time I saw them).

Great capture and very appropriate title for the scene

I recently had robins nesting on my storage building and two babies that jumped were killed by my female dog. I moved a fence to keep her away from the nest area. I hope the remaining ones survived outstanding photo

Ouch - Such things happen, and it is awful when we see such. You are a good man to put that fencing up. It is so strange that mankind is both the most cruel and also the most kind. And animals do what they do and all we can do is to love them. But definitely thanks for the heads up, this tree is well outside the fenced area of where I live in our flood plain. The chicks are safe from my dogs, but it is a frightful distance up. They must be 50 or 60 or 70 feet up. Birds easily get into storage buildings. One year I left my motorcycle helmet in ours on a shelf and in the spring it had become a birds nest.

Awesome, up close capture.

He does look like he's thinking about it. But without more wing feathers, I probably wouldn't try it myself. Good view capturing his contemplation.
