a logo i was building by add line,BoB,with the 2nd B reversed,conformed to cylinder,copied,mirrored,joined both,placed axis for taper,smooth tapered downward, copied,pasted,mirrored in world z scaled 2nd part in z,moved into position joined and textured built an egg by stretchig a spherein z and smoothing a bit

oh yeah....the DOF effect was achieved using,not the DOF settings in the Stage/Action area,but rather I used the defocussing pixels button in the global page of the quickrender dialogue set to 2 and i used soft shadows set at 57 an arbitrary number that i dialed in in the options, on the main light,with a no shadow fill light.

Quite good, I like the gold feel of it and the structure of the egg feels almost real. A quick and good work, makes me feel I want to be part of the next task...

thanx Dhurgan,....please ....come ooooon in...the water's fine...the gold is a blend of Imagine's procedural gold and RJSmetal..did work rather nicely didn't it...and yer rite...the egg is a 3 min egg...lol
