Description

The Hallgríms Church houses a large pipe organ. The keyboard is a modest affair and, if you didn’t know better, you might think it was a spinet piano. But, oh my, what a set of pipes. It has 5275 pipes, is 15 meters tall and weighs 25 tons.

What a huge body of sound. Wonderful in color and material. I love the form - like icicles.
