Description

With a steeple rising to 243 feet in height you might ask whatever could they do with such a tall structure? Well, there is a bell at the top. Since we now live in the digital age the rope that rings the bell has been replaced by a computer chip. Access is provided by an elevator and, for a fee, you may take it to the top. Here is the view with a bit of HDR fiddling.

WOW, this is awesome! I didn't know Iceland is so beautiful! Thanks for the trip, Mark! About the bell: The minister enters the church and sees the old sexton waving frantically his arm up, very worried and angry. _ What do you do? ask the minister. I try to ring the bell, but this d...n device does not work - replies the old sexton while showing the computer chip he has in his hand. :o

Perfect use of HDR for this gorgeous shot, Mark. Whatever the fee to go to the top, it was totally worth it!!
