Description

One end of the municipal pond ends at a walkway and Reykjavik’s main shopping street, Laugavegur. Here the ice has been broken by all the ducks, geese and swans who gather here to fight over the bread thrown by people. The Royal Couple does not beg. The Royal Couple does not fight over scraps. The Royal Couple maintains its dignity and goes its own way.

Beautiful birds. (Well I feel a little silly by saying bird, because in spanish it means "Pájaro" that names a little animal, for the bigger we use "Ave", and the Royal couple obviously is big. I'll feel the same by saying of an eagle that is "cute") :) Back to the point, The Royal couple looks really proud, and water looks supeb. I never have seen a frozen pond,( or river, lake...in fact, the only frozen water that I have seen are the ice cubes in my ice tray in my freezer).

I do like the look of these 'Royals' - but even more interesting to me are the 'icebergs/plates' floating on top of the water ... genious ! BB
