You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia, if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !** that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

Beautiful arrangement! What a great picture.

A wonderful gift for Lucinda but if you could turn these into wine it might be better. After all the hard work she has done she could use a drink.

haha, good thinking Mark and that would mean a lot of hard work for me ... stomping around - quite frankly there not that many grapes ;))

A very tasty treat for your friend's birthday ! If I would have been there, I would have accidently squashed them with my big feet and it would have been wine ! LOL Birthday ~Cheers~ :o)

This is such a wonderful present for our friend Lucinda, 'liebe Brigitchen'. And your presentation of it is fabelhaft (so lovely) and creative. It has become a lush wreath, almost a garland like they hang someone around the neck, when it has won a (for example) cycling race. Shall we say that this beautiful garland represents two winners here? : Lucinda, and Brigitte! Thinking of you both!!

I love grapes! Thank you! If you could send me some of that autumn weather, that would be nice too. :) This is a beautiful and festive shot. It has my mouth watering to taste the wonderful fresh fruits and vegetables from your garden. I wish you could mail these to me too. :) I love your arrangement. It is like a garland, and the colors look beautiful against those lovely tiles. Lol to Mark! I'm really not a big wine drinker. The Texas Hill Country has a lot of vineyards. My sister, Gail, loves wine. When she came to visit, and we went around to the vineyards, I gave her the task of of finding a wine I liked. I told her that in the past, when I had found wines I liked, they were white wines and semi-dry or semi-sweet. She picked a lot of ones for me to try, and what did I like while sampling wine in the Texas Hill Country? Riesling wine from Germany. Oh well.

Lucinda's one of my favorite people here, and this is a lovely offering for her. Wonderful contrast of the greens against those light pink hues (in the tiles/bricks around the grapes); and they harmonize with the pinker hues in the grapes; and you've made a wreath too---for celebration---and lots of open space on that beautiful stone. And you made a border by changing the hue in the outer most area. A beautiful wreath for Lucinda, on a very peaceful backdrop (something peaceful about that beautiful stone), and a perfect message, considering Lucinda's long crazy hours of late. Delicious piece. Happy Birthday, Lucinda! (I don't think she'll see this comment, lol---it's a weeee bit late---but I'll say it for posterity anyway...)
