Description

I talk to him some and he belongs to a civil war clue. i told him of the lake Charles grave yard had a lot and was taken care of the daughters of the confederacy. he knew about the place and say the flags will be planted the next day. all flags will be down by Wednesday. I posted this man motorcycle in my last upload and did not know I can upload any more lol oh it started to rain right after I talk to him and got back into my car. He did not make it out so I guess he got all wet.

Labor of love right there. And that's amazing about The Daughters of The Confederacy. You're making me so curious to know where these Louisiana vets fought and fell. ..... Just did some quick research. Came across The Louisiana Tigers. History of this fighting force here .... http://www.thegettysburgexperience.com/2013/March/louisianatigers.htm I'm sure there's lots, lots, lots more to read elsewhere too. Very, very beautiful picture too, Jock!

Poor guy! He suffered for his efforts. But he looks like he enjoys what he is doing! A fine photo, Jocko!

it's great that some engaged in preserving the memory of these heroes. They are gone, but will not be forgotten, thanks to the work of these people. excellent photo, Jock!

I'm glad there are people that take care of these places. A truly noble endeavor.

This cemetery looks in pretty good shape compared to the other ones you've visited in Louisiana, Jock. I hope the dude brought an umbrella.
