Description

Something from the ready to use file, as I am yet to recover from the day at the wedding. This is my preferred sort of food: a small baked spud, lamb's lettuce, radish, toms, cheese, prawns and a nectarine. NO oil, fat, garlic, grease, buts lots of subtle flavours. In spite of dire weather warnings it was a beautiful day in the end, and there was no garlic in the meal which was a great relief for me! I was seated next to some very pleasant folk, one of whom was the year behind me at school and with whom I have a mutual friend. So all in all it wasn't too bad, and although I took three cameras, (2 TZ3 and the TZ25) it was the 3's that were best for the job as they allow a very rapid review. I got one or two random man pics which I can use here later. The wedding pics are not for public media as the couple are health professionals.

I would like that too but I don't have mayonnaise, salad cream pickles or dressing of any sort. Its a nightmare when I go out.

With the exception of the radishes and perhaps the sauce on the prawns (depends on what it is), I'd eat that meal

Looks very healthy. I had a big salad today but this gives me ideas. Is there a prohibition on posting images of health professionals? Or do they just like their privacy?

A healthy choice that looks very nice and enjoyable to eat. Glad the wedding shoot went okay, good test for thinking on one's feet and getting results.

That looks delicious and I hate garlic too, isn't three cameras a bit of over kill or have you grow an extra hand . :-)

Superb capture Andrea. A pity that we cannot see some of the wedding captures. Glad you enjoyed the wedding. God bless.

Great the photo shooting went well, Andrea. That TZ3 must be a winner of Panasonic, huh? I also love this kind of meals. Lots of fresh vegetables, just the shrimp, I guess that you may have them ;-).

If my father was served this meal, he'd snarl, "are we gonna have anything besides LEAVES???" And "healthy? You could pass out just LOOKING at this..." That's ok, I'd love it. And it makes a delectable pic. And it goes with the plate too. A lovely picture, Andrea, and I'm glad you had a pleasant time. I can't IMAGINE photographing a wedding. Even if you're free to shoot however you please (meaning, you don't have to follow the protocols that "wedding photographers" follow). I take my hat off to you for doing this...And I assume that, if it was for health professionals, you can't show the pics because they're patients, and that would violate a code. But the meal makes a beautiful shot. All your meal shots are delectable. This one I could eat (I'm vegetarian), I'd just give someone my prawns. (And charge them 500 pounds. Just kidding!) I've always loved your shots of your lunches and dinners with friends.

That looks like a perfect meal to me! The potato would be a bit of a cheat for me (it's too simple a carb) but once in a while it's nice to have a treat, and I'd certainly choose THAT as my cheat for the week! :) Beautiful! So glad to hear the wedding photo thing went well. I just sent the pics from Saturday off to Trent and said, "If there's anything in here you look at and say, 'Oh gosh, I hope she doesn't post THAT,' just let me know!" There should be loads of choices, because I don't think I took any embarrassing pictures! I understand that you can't post every picture you take, though. I've got a whole file full of wonderful candid portraits that will never see the light of day, no matter how good they are! I was taking pictures for the birthday girl of her friends and family, and they were never intended to be publicly shown. Too bad, but there you have it. Glad it went well for you! :)

Great success at the wedding and a beautiful lunch in this post - I'm in for everything except the prawns - allergic to then along with lobster and crabs!
