Such a great shot!! I like this view of them popping out to say hello. While I was looking at the giraffes, part of my brain was noticing their letter box was quite high on the wall. Suddenly I kicked into gear and realized it must be a trough for treats. LOL!

Love those tall barns they have! Wonderful shot of the giraffes, makes me think I need to get to Woodland Park Zoo soon, it's been too long. Great dedi for Andrea (who is fairly tall in her own right!)

Sweet picture. We fed a very small baby giraffe at a drive-through park once, and I'll never forget the gentleness and tenderness as its lips softly brushed against the palms of our hands. So I have a real soft spot for giraffes. Lovely!

What a nice, tall house! Cute mailbox too! I love what they've done with the place! I know that's not a mailbox, but in giraffe-land, it would be: I mean, where else are they going to receive their monthly subscriptions of Tall Housekeeping or their daily issues The Grassland Daily Telegraph...(They have a great movie review section, as giraffe-avant-garde cinema is all the rage in some areas.) OK...I digress... This is a fantastic shot. I love the height markers, and is that an ibis in the front yard? The colors are fantastic: the greens, giraffe-colors, and the reds all play so well together, and the expressions on their faces are priceless; it looks like they're expecting company (probably for two birthday parties) and the little one is asking: "Are they here yet?" This is brilliant, and a belated Happy Birthday to Andrea and Werner.
