Description

Scotland, Argyll, Glencoe Following the A82 you left the munros behind you and arrive a large moor landscape, here with the Buachaille Etive MÃ²r at the right side. The storm is over but the removement of the fallen trees will take some days. Our car is ok and we also ;o) Thanks a lot for all appreciated comments! ;o)

Deine Bilder sind wie eine Reise durch Schottland, echt klasse. Ein totaler Wandel der Landschaft, Moore haben ihre eigene Stimmung. Das war wirklich ein schlimmes Unwetter in NRW, hab's in der Glotze gesehen. Hier fühlt es sich an wie in Afrika, wir würden uns über eine Abkühlung freuen, aber hoffentlich nicht so heftig wie bei Euch.

I have spent most of my life studying famous military battles. I wanted to run across the Battlefield at Culloden but soon stumbled on to and into a moor like this. Petrified dead bushes, small bogs that were deeper that the openings and rocks. Hard to believe that men in kilts with swords and minimal muskets did this against the well armed British with muskets.
