Description

What a couple of weeks! I somehow got a computer virus and it kept interfering with Poser and other programs, shutting them down and causing errors. I had ran boot scans and was pulling my hair out. I backed up all my runtimes just in case i had to pull the plug on my render machine. I was just about to just dump the whole thing, and reinstall everything. Fortunately I finally found the lousy bug. I think that anyone who invents these viruses and malware should be strung up. I managed to get this one finished, finally! I'm so glad about that, because as soon as I saw Jenny and crew's awesome Marinda and Oceana pack I got this picture in my head. Awesome.. finally a mermaid as fantastical as my fantasies of one. I really love how long the tail is and how graceful. I want to do more mermaids now, I just need a coral reef to pose them on. So, we are moving forward with the house. It needs a lot of work, so the loan we are getting has money for the repairs and such. I can't wait to get into the house, my mind is full of decorating ideas. Of course this will be decorating on a budget. Work is the same.. so much of it, and only one of me. I may put in for a position in another department soon, though, try to get away from the phones. Keep your finger's crossed.

I love the water and your mermaid is great. Glad to hear you caught your virus. Went through the same stuff myself about 6 weeks ago. What a pain!

It's so frustrating when we can't use the pc or mac to work on the things we enjoy because of a virus or other nastiness. I'm sure we've all been there. So glad you got everything back up and running. Rendering a shoreline can be a challenge but you sure have done a great job! The waves and light are super, now you have me thinking of a mermaid image... :)

I hate phones... On the other hand, I love this oceanic image. Fine job, despite the PITA. ;)

First - this is a stunning work of art, Delaney! You've really done an awesome job with Marinda - amazing work on the water as well - it's not easy to make water look right, and you've nailed it here! Funny thing.... About 3 or 4 weeks ago, it occurred to me that in all the stuff I've posted here, I've not done a mermaid.... The next day, I opened my email and....... guess who showed up! Soooo tonight, guess what I'm working on! LOL I really do love this whole massive set - and that tail! So unique! Jenny & the Gang outdid themselves - again. Ah, hackers..... You're being merciful, Delaney... I'd have them slowly par-broiled in used axle grease. Then I'd get NASTY. There must be a special corner of hell for those cretins... Hope all goes well with the house - that's always an exciting time! Lots of work, but exciting! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and your job - but you gotta do the same for me! LOL My job's getting to be a big PIA lately. Anyway, good to see a post from you, my friend! :-D

Marvelous image! Amazing work on that ocean and the rocks. Really well done. Hopefully this is a benevolent mermaid and not a cousin to the Sirens. I agree with you on Jenny's mermaid package, it will be the first time I ever went for one. Sucks about the virus and I'm with you on stringing up the a-holes who do these things. I'll never fathom the derelict and deficient personalities that do that. Glad you were able to find it.
