Description

Watching Mr. Buck chilling in the garden this morning, I wondered what his life was like a few years ago before he had his accident & came to live with us. He was apparently a "WORKING CAT", I presume that means he worked for his living catching mice & rats at the stables he lived at. (I don't know how good he was at that because during all the years he has lived with us, he has killed 2 birds, I didn't like that :0((((() I believe his previous owner didn't want him after he heard how much had been spent on him at the vets & he said he could stay with us as he "had started to want to go in the house anyway???" His brother had been killed on the road a few years before!!! All I can say is that the people who used the stables must have given him a lot of fuss as he is so loving & laid back. Thanks for all the lovely comments & favs, so, so appreciated. xxx

I am sure he thinks he is in heaven living there with you and the girls, compare to living in a barn. Just seeing him lying there at ease, asleep, without a worry in the world is great.. Fabulous capture Barbara.

"Lazybones, sleeping in the sun ..." My moggie gave up chasing birds and bringing mice home some years ago.

What a fortunate Cat Mr. Buck is, to have found such a wonderful retirement home. He certainly was a perfect fit for you home. He's been a good friend to the girls, and he has added a certain charm and warmth that only a Cat can add to a home. What a wonderful live he has now.
