Found this Assassin bug with lunch on the hibiscus out front. I believe the meal maybe a small sweat bee of some sort, or a parasitic wasp?
This is the second AB I have seen on that plant in the last couple days Nice to see they are flourishing.

Super! Such clarity and colors! Such a small head, but I suppose that insect predators don't really need too much brain space! I love the details in this and for all of the brutality that some may see, it's a gorgeous, deliciously natural image. Your work is always fantastic and I absolutely love this.

Had an assasin bug stab me in the thigh once. You better believe I have lots of respect for them now !!! Hurt for days. Fabulous shot and congrats on the LWITG selection too :)
