Description
Those great big beautiful eyes.
Another one salvaged from my old files, captured 3/27/06, at a now defunct nearby nature center.
No, I don't know the name of this handsome beast of burden; maybe it was Barney, Oscar or Smitty. Then again, on the distaff side, it could have been Angie, Millie or Penelope. Anyway, it was curious and docile.

it is a good shot of this beast looking at you

What a very lovely and furry creature! It does look quite curious, probably seeing itself in your lens and hoping that you'll produce a toothsome treat! Excellent capture of this furperson, Harry!

A big full face portrait, filling your frame. And the surrounding couldn't match his colors better if you tried. You got in its face, in the best sense, and captured all that beautiful plush fur. Llamas, like alpacas (and related) make wonderful coat fabrics, often warmer than wool. (An alpaca sweater---related to the llama family---will make you roast if it's not cold enough out.) And you can see why the coat is so warm, from this shot. Wonderful too, how his/her ears stand straight up in the shot, like he posed for you that way. A very lush capture of a beautiful face. Very pleasing, Harry, very full.
