Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

And here they come! A most impressive capture of the daring, fearless young bikers coming at you, hell bent for leather, in this super pano, Marilyn. I assume you got out of the way in time.

Lol, Harry---actually, if you DIDN'T get out of the way in time, you could squeeze between the middle two bikers, because there's a space between them big enough for a few Mac Trucks. Another daring and caught-in-the-moment action shot from you, and you got the blur caused by the back-draft of sand and pebbles---the line of demarcation is very clear here. And your crop makes it a big tidal wave coming at us. (You ARE standing pretty close---I hope you did get out of the way quickly!) You take to these action shots with real ease. It must come from your natural communion with the huge action of the ocean...
