My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Omgosh, this is incredible, it's another of those images that so much can be done with. Even as a base it's awesome.

I like the contrast in the photo Tara. Nice shot.

Platforms for cannon? Could work as a cloister with a wine cellar in the back. Very atmospheric. Great capture.

Ooh, this makes me think of the Czech Republic...or Agara! That's never a bad thing, even though it's really hard to actually get to Agara. Sometimes. I love what you've done to this. The photo by itself is amazing, but there's a whole, deep, chewy mood-enhancement taking place; it's just oozing with atmosphere and for some reason I'm thinking of a place full of heretics or librarians or something. The reds and ochers are simply stunning, as are the shadows. This whole image seems so alive, and so compelling. I'm sure that there are stories in here, and I'll have to peek in here on occasion just to see what it's saying! This is brilliant! Simply perfect!

"Deep, chewy mood enhancement"! Good old Chip! Not having a word gift moment at present, all I can say is the photo is superb. If this place were in England so done would make it into a hotel.

That should say someone. Why is there no edit facility on this site?

Love it Tara, a brilliant pic.

I like this location.....old vaults have a special charm. Und the low incidence of light is enchanting. Sooo warm. Exactly contrary to the cool interior. Your play with light snd shadow is simple wonderful.

Une lumière magique où se promène notre regard qui pas à pas s'aventure dans la pièce - atmosphère mystérieuse

Expect to see Jack the ripper lurking in those shadows Tara :) Very Victorian London vibe.

Heretic librarians? Maybe they know of a way to repel ant invaders...this is absolutely stunning!!

What is it with the play of light and shade ? - that makes this place come alive in a dark and haunting way ... without goosebumps running down your spine ? whether you and Bill go on early morning or late arvo walks, you always have something interesting to show us, just like this one ... I am thinking more along the lines of a theatrical BG, than a library - but it usually works at best within our personal fantasies, maybe even Teutonic Knights chasing each other with swords, or not ? ;P cool offering Tara, BB

Another of your light and shadow-play shots, and this one stunning, tara. The predominant tone here is dark, which makes the heavy lights so powerful. And you have mid-lights too (I mean middle intensity, half-lit), and they nuance the picture beautifully. Plus more color than one would expect in such a dark shot: You paid fine attention to hue here, bringing out the front rough stone, the red of the bricks, the discolorations going back into the hall...And those beautiful light-plays across the floor. Just enough softness to enhance the feeling, but still filled with hard-edged textures to bring out "brick-ness". Quite beautiful, moody and inward. Another of your highly nuanced shadow shots, filled with undertones of rich, opulent red...first rate work.
