Hello, and welcome. Thanks so much for taking the time to view my work. An an extra thanks to those who take the time to comment or favorite. I deeply appreciate the support.
I based this image off a photo of Linda Celeste Sims of the Alvin Ailey dance company. I've always enjoyed dance poses, and found dancers inspiring in my art. And this was exactly the kind of usage I first thought of when making my two piece outfit. The skirt is from my African Wear 01, which is still due for release at HiveWire3D. I've taken the white textures and applied it to my EM 02 Satin. The panties and bandeau use a similar version of the satin with some of the plain textures I've made for the two piece set. I'm making some of the materials for the two piece set plain and customizable.
I hope to get back on track and finish the two piece set soon. I'm going through a really rough time in my life right now, so it's hard to say how soon I'll finish. But I have hope. Hence the image and title. :)
The figure here is Dawn (who took this pose beautifully), her body is using the Starter Morphs with Faces of Africa and some morphs with the morph brush. The hair is Beautiful Black Hairstyles by Neftis. The scene uses all my own props and lights, and my own procedural background material.

Dance is a brilliant form of expression: you've captured it beautifully, here. As vivid and tangible as this dancer is (I'm already anticipating the soft thump sound when her feet touch the floor), what really strikes me is the rich tones of the skin. This is a perfect marriage of optimal lighting and superior skin textures and shaders. That's what stands out first, as the flow of your African Wear skirt seems so natural it doesn't call attention to itself. It does sim beautifully, as I've said elsewhere. And this is Dawn? Wow, she does bend and morph well! An excellent work of art, KobaltKween!

I can't believe that is Dawn :D She is gorgeous, and she looks so happy--I hope some of that joy comes to visit you in your own life! The drapery of the skirt is so pretty!
